³⁰ “And I will show ^(A)wonders in the heavens and ^(B)on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.

¹¹ There will be great ^(A)earthquakes, and in various places ^(B)famines and pestilences. And there will be ^(C)terrors and great ^(D)signs from heaven.

²⁹ “Immediately after ^(A)the tribulation of those days ^(B)the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and ^(C)the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

²⁵ “And ^(A)there will be signs in sun and moon ^(B)and stars, and on the earth ^(C)distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, ²⁶ people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For ^(D)the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

⁴⁰ But when the signal began to rise out of the city in a column of smoke, the Benjaminites looked behind them, and behold, ^(A)the whole of the city went up in smoke to heaven.

¹² When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, ^(A)there was a great earthquake, and ^(B)the sun became black as ^(C)sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, ¹³ and ^(D)the stars of the sky fell to the earth ^(E)as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. ^14 (F)The sky vanished ^(G)like a scroll that is being rolled up, and ^(H)every mountain and island was removed from its place. ¹⁵ Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave^[a] and free, ^(I)hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, ^16 (J)calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of ^(K)him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, ¹⁷ for ^(L)the great day of their wrath has come, and ^(M)who can stand?”

²⁴ “But in those days, after ^(A)that tribulation, ^(B)the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, ²⁵ and ^(C)the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

⁹ And ^(A)the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, ^(B)will weep and wail over her ^(C)when they see the smoke of her burning.
