⁶ let God weigh me^(A) in honest scales^(B)
    and he will know that I am blameless^(C)—

⁸     Let the Lord judge^(A) the peoples.
Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness,^(B)
    according to my integrity,^(C) O Most High.^(D)
9 Bring to an end the violence of the wicked
    and make the righteous secure—^(E)
you, the righteous God^(F)
    who probes minds and hearts.^(G)

³ Though you probe my heart,^(C)
    though you examine me at night and test me,^(D)
you will find that I have planned no evil;^(E)
    my mouth has not transgressed.^(F)

³ “Do not keep talking so proudly
    or let your mouth speak such arrogance,^(A)
for the Lord is a God who knows,^(B)
    and by him deeds^(C) are weighed.^(D)

⁷ The path of the righteous is level;^(A)
    you, the Upright One,^(B) make the way of the righteous smooth.^(C)
