⁸ Will you really ^(A)annul My judgment?
Will you ^(B)condemn Me ^(C)that you may be justified?
⁹ Or do you have an arm like God,
And can you ^(D)thunder with a voice like His?

² The ^(A)kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
^(B)Against Yahweh and against His ^[a](C)Anointed, saying,
³ “Let us ^(D)tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”

³⁰ There is ^(A)no wisdom, there is no discernment
And there is no counsel against Yahweh.

²⁴ I ^(A)set a snare for you, and you were also ^(B)caught, O Babylon,
But you yourself did not know;
You have been found and also seized
Because you have engaged in ^(C)conflict with Yahweh.”
