The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word,(A) and the Word was with God,(B) and the Word was God.(C)
John 4:23-24

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come(A) when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit(B) and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit,(C) and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

8 Philip(G) said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.(H) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?(I) The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.(J) Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
