Jeremiah 31:29-34
Legacy Standard Bible
29 “In those days they will not say again,
‘(A)The fathers have eaten sour grapes,
And the children’s teeth are [a]set on edge.’
30 But (B)everyone will die for his own iniquity; each man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be [b]set on edge.
31 “(C)Behold, days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will cut a (D)new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32 not like the (E)covenant which I cut with their fathers in the day I (F)took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My (G)covenant which they broke, but I was a husband to them,” declares Yahweh. 33 “But (H)this is the covenant which I will cut with the house of Israel after those days,” declares Yahweh: “(I)I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and (J)I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 And they will (K)not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know Yahweh,’ for they will all (L)know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares Yahweh, “for I will (M)forgive their iniquity, and their (N)sin I will remember no more.”

A New Covenant
31 The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.(C) 32 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt—a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord.(D) 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.(E) 34 No longer shall they teach one another or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more.(F)
