Jeremiah 4:18-21
Legacy Standard Bible
18 Your (A)ways and your deeds
Have done these things to you.
This is your evil. How (B)bitter!
How it has touched your heart!”
Anguish over Judah’s Desolation
19 (C)My [a]soul, my [b]soul! I am in anguish! [c]Oh, my heart!
My (D)heart is pounding in me;
I cannot be silent
Because [d]you have heard, O my soul,
The (E)sound of the trumpet,
The shout of war.
20 (F)Destruction upon destruction is called out,
For the (G)whole land is devastated;
Suddenly my (H)tents are devastated,
My curtains in an instant.
21 How long must I see the standard
And hear the sound of the trumpet?
