⁹ But they shall be a slave to Yahweh their God and ^(A)David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

²³ “Then I will ^(A)establish over them one ^(B)shepherd, My servant ^(C)David, and he will shepherd them; he will shepherd them himself and be their shepherd. ²⁴ And I, Yahweh, will be their God, and My servant ^(D)David will be prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken.

Yahweh Cuts a Covenant

²⁴ “And My servant ^(A)David will be king over them, and they will all have ^(B)one shepherd; and they will walk in My judgments and keep My statutes and do them.
