^33 (A)And the dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the air, and for the beasts of the earth, ^(B)and none will frighten them away.

²⁶ And ^(A)your dead body shall be food for all birds of the air and for the beasts of the earth, and ^(B)there shall be no one to frighten them away.

¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to ^(A)all the birds that fly directly overhead, ^(B)“Come, gather for ^(C)the great supper of God, ^18 (D)to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave,^[a] both small and great.”

^18 (A)You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth—of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, of bulls, all of them ^(B)fat beasts of Bashan. ¹⁹ And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you. ²⁰ And you shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors,’ declares the Lord God.

^4 (A)You shall fall on ^(B)the mountains of Israel, you and all your ^(C)hordes and the peoples who are with you. ^(D)I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

²⁰ And I will give them into the hand of their enemies ^(A)and into the hand of those who seek their lives. ^(B)Their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth.

^33 (A)“And those pierced by the Lord on that day shall extend from one end of the earth to the other. ^(B)They shall not be lamented, ^(C)or gathered, or buried; ^(D)they shall be dung on the surface of the ground.
