² “Stand^(A) at the gate of the Lord’s house and there proclaim this message:

“‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you people of Judah who come through these gates to worship the Lord.

² “This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard^(A) of the Lord’s house and speak to all the people of the towns of Judah who come to worship in the house of the Lord.^(B) Tell^(C) them everything I command you; do not omit^(D) a word.

¹⁶ Now then, hear^(A) the word of the Lord. You say,

⁴ The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn.^(A) Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’^{(B) 5} And whether they listen or fail to listen^(C)—for they are a rebellious people^(D)—they will know that a prophet has been among them.^(E)

22 This is what the Lord says: “Go down to the palace of the king^(A) of Judah and proclaim this message there: ² ‘Hear^(B) the word of the Lord to you, king of Judah, you who sit on David’s throne^(C)—you, your officials and your people who come through these gates.^(D)
