¹⁰ I signed and sealed the deed,^(A) had it witnessed,^(B) and weighed out the silver on the scales.

⁴⁴ Fields will be bought for silver, and deeds^(A) will be signed, sealed and witnessed^(B) in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem, in the towns of Judah and in the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev,^(C) because I will restore^(D) their fortunes,^[a] declares the Lord.”

¹² and I gave this deed to Baruch^(A) son of Neriah,^(B) the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of my cousin Hanamel and of the witnesses who had signed the deed and of all the Jews sitting in the courtyard of the guard.

⁴ They were told not to harm^(A) the grass of the earth or any plant or tree,^(B) but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.^(C)

² Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal^(A) of the living God.^(B) He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:^(C)
