James 5:6-8

6 You have condemned and [a](A)put to death (B)the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.
Exhortation
7 Therefore be patient, (C)brothers and sisters, (D)until the coming of the Lord. (E)The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until [b]it gets (F)the early and late rains. 8 (G)You too be patient; (H)strengthen your hearts, for (I)the coming of the Lord is (J)near.

Patience in Suffering
7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming.(C) See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting(D) for the autumn and spring rains.(E) 8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming(F) is near.(G)
