James 3:15-18
New American Standard Bible
15 This wisdom is not that which comes down (A)from above, but is (B)earthly, [a](C)natural, (D)demonic. 16 For where (E)jealousy and [b]selfish ambition exist, [c]there is disorder and every evil thing. 17 But the wisdom (F)from above is first (G)pure, then (H)peace-loving, (I)gentle, [d]reasonable, (J)full of mercy and good fruits, [e](K)impartial, free of (L)hypocrisy. 18 And the (M)fruit of righteousness is sown in peace [f]by those who make peace.

15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven(A) but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.(B) 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition,(C) there you find disorder and every evil practice.
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven(D) is first of all pure; then peace-loving,(E) considerate, submissive, full of mercy(F) and good fruit, impartial and sincere.(G) 18 Peacemakers(H) who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.(I)
