Ang Mensahe tungkol sa Egipto
19 Ang mensaheng itoʼy tungkol sa Egipto:
Makinig kayo! Ang Panginoon ay nakasakay sa ulap at mabilis na pumunta sa Egipto. Nanginginig sa takot ang mga dios-diosan ng Egipto, at kinakabahan ang mga Egipcio.
2 Sinabi ng Panginoon, “Pag-aawayin ko ang mga taga-Egipto: Kapatid laban sa kapatid, kapitbahay laban sa kapitbahay, lungsod laban sa lungsod, at kaharian laban sa kaharian. 3 Masisiraan ng loob ang mga taga-Egipto, at guguluhin ko ang mga plano nila. Sasangguni sila sa mga dios-diosan, sa kaluluwa ng mga patay, sa mga mangkukulam at mga espiritista. 4 Ipapasakop ko sila sa isang malupit na hari.” Iyon nga ang sinabi ng Panginoong Makapangyarihan.
5 Matutuyo ang Ilog ng Nilo. 6 Ang mga sapa at mga batis na dinadaluyan nito ay babaho at matutuyo. Malalanta ang mga tambo at mga talahib, 7 ang lahat ng tanim sa pampang ng ilog. Matutuyo at titigas ang lupa malapit sa Ilog ng Nilo at mamamatay ang mga halaman dito. 8 Iiyak, maghihinagpis, at manghihina ang mga mangingisda sa Ilog ng Nilo, 9 at malulungkot ang mga gumagawa ng mga telang linen. 10 Manlulumo ang mga manghahabi at ang iba pang mga manggagawa.
11 Hangal ang mga pinuno ng Zoan! Kinikilala silang mga pinakamatalinong tagapayo ng Faraon,[a] pero ang kanilang mga payo ay walang kabuluhan. Paano nila nasabi sa Faraon, “Lahi kami ng matatalino at ng mga hari noong unang panahon.”
12 Faraon, nasaan na ngayon ang matatalino mong tao? Kung talagang matatalino sila, itanong mo kung ano ang plano ng Panginoong Makapangyarihan para sa Egipto. 13 Talagang mga mangmang ang mga pinuno ng Zoan at Memfis.[b] Madali silang malinlang. Silang mga pinuno ang siyang dapat sanang manguna sa mga mamamayan ng Egipto, pero sila pa ang luminlang sa kanila. 14 Ginugulo ng Panginoon ang isip ng mga Egipcio. Pamali-mali ang mga hakbang na kanilang ginagawa. Para silang mga lasing na pasuray-suray at nagsusuka. 15 Walang sinuman sa buong Egipto, mayaman man o mahirap, marangal man o aba, ang makakatulong sa kanyang bansa.
16 Sa mga araw na iyon, ang mga taga-Egipto ay magiging mahina na parang babae. Manginginig sila sa takot sa parusang ihahatol sa kanila ng Panginoong Makapangyarihan. 17 Matatakot sila sa Juda, kahit marinig lang nila ang pangalan nito. Mangyayari ito sa kanila dahil sa plano ng Panginoong Makapangyarihan laban sa kanila.
18 Sa araw na iyon, limang lungsod ng Egipto ang susunod sa Panginoong Makapangyarihan, at magsasalita sila sa wikang Hebreo.[c] Isa sa mga lungsod na itoʼy tatawaging, Lungsod ng Araw.[d]
19 Sa araw na iyon, itatayo ang isang altar para sa Panginoon sa lupain ng Egipto, at itatayo ang isang alaalang bato sa hangganan nito. 20 Magiging tanda ito at patunay na naroon ang Panginoong Makapangyarihan sa lupain ng Egipto. Kung ang mga taga-Egipto ay hihingi ng tulong sa Panginoon sa dahilang pinapahirapan sila ng mga umaapi sa kanila, padadalhan sila ng magliligtas at kakalinga sa kanila. 21 Ipapakilala ng Panginoon ang kanyang sarili sa kanila, at sa araw na iyon ay kikilalanin nila ang Panginoon. Sasambahin nila siya sa pamamagitan ng sari-saring mga handog. Magsisipanata sila sa Panginoon, at tutuparin nila iyon. 22 Parurusahan ng Panginoon ng salot ang mga taga-Egipto, pero pagagalingin din niya ang mga ito. Dudulog sila sa Panginoon, at didinggin niya ang mga dalangin nila at pagagalingin sila.
23 Sa araw na iyon, magkakaroon ng malapad na daan mula sa Egipto papuntang Asiria. Ang mga taga-Egipto at mga taga-Asiria ay magpaparooʼt parito sa Egipto at sa Asiria, at magkasama silang sasamba. 24 Sa araw na iyon, magsasama ang Israel, Egipto, at ang Asiria. At ang tatlong bansang ito ay magiging pagpapala sa buong mundo. 25 Pagpapalain sila ng Panginoong Makapangyarihan at sasabihin, “Pinagpapala ko ang mga taga-Egipto na aking mga mamamayan, ang mga taga-Asiria na aking nilalang, at ang mga taga-Israel na pagmamay-ari ko.”

Parurusahan ang Ehipto
19 Isang(A) pahayag tungkol sa Ehipto.
Tingnan ninyo, ang Panginoon ay nakasakay sa isang matuling ulap,
at patungo sa Ehipto,
at ang mga diyus-diyosan ng Ehipto ay manginginig sa kanyang harapan,
at ang puso ng Ehipto ay manlulumo sa gitna niyon.
2 Aking kikilusin ang mga Ehipcio laban sa mga Ehipcio;
at sila'y maglalaban, bawat tao laban sa kanyang kapatid,
at bawat tao laban sa kanyang kapwa,
lunsod laban sa lunsod, at kaharian laban sa kaharian.
3 Ang diwa ng mga Ehipcio ay mauubos sa gitna niyon;
at aking guguluhin ang kanilang mga panukala;
at sasangguni sila sa mga diyus-diyosan, at sa mga engkantador,
at sa mga sumasangguni sa masamang espiritu, at sa mga manghuhula.
4 Aking ibibigay ang mga Ehipcio
sa kamay ng mabagsik na panginoon;
at mabangis na hari ang maghahari sa kanila,
sabi ng Panginoon, ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo.
5 Ang tubig ng Nilo ay matutuyo,
at ang ilog ay mawawalan ng tubig at matutuyo.
6 Ang mga ilog ay babaho;
ang mga batis ng Ehipto ay huhupa at matutuyo,
ang mga tambo at mga talahib ay matutuyo.
7 Magkakaroon ng mga walang tanim na dako sa pampang ng Nilo,
sa baybayin ng Nilo,
at lahat ng inihasik sa tabi ng Nilo ay matutuyo,
matatangay, at mawawala.
8 Ang mga mangingisda ay tatangis,
lahat ng naglalawit ng bingwit sa Nilo ay tatangis,
at manghihina silang naglaladlad ng mga lambat sa tubig.
9 Ang mga gumagawa ng tela ay mawawalan ng pag-asa,
at ang humahabi ng puting damit ay manghihina.
10 Ang mga haligi ng lupain ay madudurog,
at ang lahat na nagpapaupa ay magdadalamhati.
11 Ang mga pinuno ng Zoan ay lubos na hangal;
ang matatalinong tagapayo ni Faraon ay nagbibigay ng payong hangal.
Paanong masasabi ninyo kay Faraon,
“Ako'y anak ng pantas,
anak ng mga dating hari?”
12 Saan ngayon naroon ang iyong mga pantas?
Sasabihin nga nila sa iyo ngayon at ipaalam nila
kung ano ang pinanukala ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo laban sa Ehipto.
13 Ang mga pinuno ng Zoan ay naging mga hangal,
ang mga pinuno ng Memfis ay dinaya,
sila na panulok na bato ng kanyang mga lipi
ang nagligaw sa Ehipto.
14 Inihalo ng Panginoon sa kanya
ang espiritu ng pagkalito;
at iniligaw nila sa bawat gawa niya ang Ehipto,
pasuray-suray sa kanyang pagsusuka gaya ng lasing na tao.
15 Hindi na magkakaroon ng anuman para sa Ehipto
na magagawa ng ulo o ng buntot, sanga ng palma, o tambo.
Pagbabalik-loob ng Ehipto at ng Asiria
16 Sa araw na iyon ay magiging parang mga babae ang mga Ehipcio, at manginginig sa takot sa harapan ng kamay ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo na kanyang itinataas laban sa kanila.
17 At ang lupain ng Juda ay magiging kakilabutan sa Ehipto; kaninuman mabanggit iyon ay matatakot, dahil sa panukala ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo, na ipinanukala laban doon.
18 Sa araw na iyon ay magkakaroon ng limang bayan sa lupain ng Ehipto na magsasalita ng wika ng Canaan, at magsisisumpa ng katapatan sa Panginoon ng mga hukbo. Ang isa roo'y tatawaging ‘Lunsod ng Araw.’
19 Sa araw na iyon ay magkakaroon ng isang dambana sa Panginoon sa gitna ng lupain ng Ehipto, at isang haligi sa Panginoon sa hangganan niyon.
20 Iyon ay magiging tanda at saksi sa Panginoon ng mga hukbo sa lupain ng Ehipto. Kapag sila'y dumaing sa Panginoon dahil sa mga mang-aapi, magsusugo siya sa kanila ng isang tagapagligtas, at kanyang ipagtatanggol at ililigtas sila.
21 At ipapakilala ng Panginoon ang kanyang sarili sa Ehipto, at makikilala ng mga Ehipcio ang Panginoon sa araw na iyon at sila'y magsisisamba na may alay at handog na sinusunog. At sila'y gagawa ng panata sa Panginoon at tutuparin ang mga iyon.
22 At sasaktan ng Panginoon ang Ehipto, sinasaktan at pinagagaling, at sila'y manunumbalik sa Panginoon, at kanyang papakinggan ang kanilang mga daing at pagagalingin sila.
23 Sa araw na iyon ay magkakaroon ng lansangan mula sa Ehipto hanggang sa Asiria, at ang mga taga-Asiria ay magsisipasok sa Ehipto, at ang mga Ehipcio ay sa Asiria, at ang mga Ehipcio ay magsisisambang kasama ng mga taga-Asiria.
24 Sa araw na iyon ay magiging pangatlo ang Israel sa Ehipto at sa Asiria, isang pagpapala sa gitna ng lupain,
25 na pinagpala ng Panginoon ng mga hukbo, na sinasabi, “Pagpalain ang bayan kong Ehipto, at ang Asiria na gawa ng aking mga kamay, at ang Israel na aking mana.”

A Prophecy Against Egypt
19 A prophecy(A) against Egypt:(B)
See, the Lord rides on a swift cloud(C)
and is coming to Egypt.
The idols of Egypt tremble before him,
and the hearts of the Egyptians melt(D) with fear.
2 “I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian—
brother will fight against brother,(E)
neighbor against neighbor,
city against city,
kingdom against kingdom.(F)
3 The Egyptians will lose heart,(G)
and I will bring their plans(H) to nothing;(I)
they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead,
the mediums and the spiritists.(J)
4 I will hand the Egyptians over
to the power of a cruel master,
and a fierce king(K) will rule over them,”
declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.
5 The waters of the river will dry up,(L)
and the riverbed will be parched and dry.(M)
6 The canals will stink;(N)
the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up.(O)
The reeds(P) and rushes will wither,(Q)
7 also the plants(R) along the Nile,
at the mouth of the river.
Every sown field(S) along the Nile
will become parched, will blow away and be no more.(T)
8 The fishermen(U) will groan and lament,
all who cast hooks(V) into the Nile;
those who throw nets on the water
will pine away.
9 Those who work with combed flax(W) will despair,
the weavers of fine linen(X) will lose hope.
10 The workers in cloth will be dejected,
and all the wage earners will be sick at heart.
11 The officials of Zoan(Y) are nothing but fools;
the wise counselors(Z) of Pharaoh give senseless advice.(AA)
How can you say to Pharaoh,
“I am one of the wise men,(AB)
a disciple of the ancient kings”?
12 Where are your wise men(AC) now?
Let them show you and make known
what the Lord Almighty
has planned(AD) against Egypt.
13 The officials of Zoan(AE) have become fools,
the leaders of Memphis(AF) are deceived;
the cornerstones(AG) of her peoples
have led Egypt astray.
14 The Lord has poured into them
a spirit of dizziness;(AH)
they make Egypt stagger in all that she does,
as a drunkard staggers(AI) around in his vomit.
15 There is nothing Egypt can do—
head or tail, palm branch or reed.(AJ)
16 In that day(AK) the Egyptians will become weaklings.(AL) They will shudder with fear(AM) at the uplifted hand(AN) that the Lord Almighty raises against them. 17 And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified,(AO) because of what the Lord Almighty is planning(AP) against them.
18 In that day(AQ) five cities(AR) in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance(AS) to the Lord Almighty. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.[a](AT)
19 In that day(AU) there will be an altar(AV) to the Lord in the heart of Egypt,(AW) and a monument(AX) to the Lord at its border. 20 It will be a sign and witness(AY) to the Lord Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior(AZ) and defender, and he will rescue(BA) them. 21 So the Lord will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge(BB) the Lord. They will worship(BC) with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the Lord and keep them.(BD) 22 The Lord will strike(BE) Egypt with a plague;(BF) he will strike them and heal them. They will turn(BG) to the Lord, and he will respond to their pleas and heal(BH) them.
23 In that day(BI) there will be a highway(BJ) from Egypt to Assyria.(BK) The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship(BL) together. 24 In that day(BM) Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria,(BN) a blessing[b](BO) on the earth. 25 The Lord Almighty will bless(BP) them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people,(BQ) Assyria my handiwork,(BR) and Israel my inheritance.(BS)”

19 1 The destruction of the Egyptians by the Assyrians. 18 Of their conversion to the Lord.
1 The [a]burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord [b]rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt, and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of her.
2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: so everyone shall [c]fight against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor, city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 And the [d]spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst of her, and I will destroy their counsel, and they shall seek at the idols, and at the sorcerers, and at them that have spirits of divination, and at the soothsayers.
4 And I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of the cruel lords, and a mighty king shall rule over them, saith the Lord God of hosts.
5 Then the waters of the sea shall [e]fail, and the river shall be dried up, and wasted.
6 And the [f]rivers shall go far away: the rivers of defense shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall be cut down.
7 The grass in the river, and at the [g]head of the rivers, and all that groweth by the river shall wither, and be driven away, and be no more.
8 The fishers also shall [h]mourn, and all they that cast angle into the river, shall lament, and they that spread their net upon the waters, shall be weakened.
9 Moreover, they that work in flax of divers sorts, shall be confounded, and they that weave nets.
10 For their nets shall be broken, and all they that make ponds shall be heavy in heart.
11 Surely the princes of [i]Zoan are fools: the counsel of the wise counselors of Pharaoh, is become foolish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I [j]am the son of the wise? I am the son of the ancient kings?
12 Where are now the wise men, that they may tell thee, or may know what the Lord of hosts hath determined against Egypt?
13 The princes of Zoan are become fools: the princes of [k]Noph are deceived, they have deceived Egypt, even the [l]corners of the tribes thereof.
14 The Lord hath mingled among them the spirits [m]of errors: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man erreth in his vomit.
15 Neither shall there be any work in Egypt, which the head may [n]do, nor the tail, the branch nor the rush.
16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: for it shall be afraid and fear because of the moving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
17 And the land of Judah shall be a fear [o]unto Egypt: everyone that maketh mention of it, shall be afraid thereat, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined upon it.
18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt [p]speak the language of Canaan, and shall [q]swear by the Lord of hosts: one shall be called the city of [r]destruction.
19 In that day shall the altar of the Lord be in the midst of the land of Egypt, and [s]a pillar by the border thereof unto the Lord.
20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord, because of the oppressors, and he shall send them [t]a Savior, and a great man, and shall deliver them.
21 And the Lord shall be known of the Egyptians, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and do [u]sacrifice and oblation, and shall vow vows unto the Lord, and perform them.
22 So the Lord shall smite Egypt, he shall smite and heal it: for he shall return unto the Lord, and he shall be entreated of them and shall heal them.
23 In that day shall there be a path from [v]Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria shall come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria: so the Egyptians shall worship with Assyria.
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and Assyria: even a blessing in the midst of the land.
25 For the Lord of hosts shall bless it, saying, Blessed be my people Egypt and Assyria, the work of mine hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
