Пророчество за Емануил
7 (A)И в дните на Юдейския цар Ахаз, син на Йотам, Озиевия син, сирийският цар Расин и Израилевият цар Факей, Ромелиевият син, излязоха против Йерусалим, за да воюват против него; но не можаха да го завладеят.
2 Тогава известиха на Давидовия дом: Сирия се съюзи с Ефрем. И сърцето на Ахаз, и сърцето на народа му се разклатиха, както горските дървета се разклащат от вятъра.
3 (B)Тогава Господ каза на Исайя: Излез сега да посрещнеш Ахаз, ти и синът ти Сеар-Ясув[a], при края на водопровода на горния водоем, по пътя към тепавичарската нива,
4 и му кажи:
Гледай да си спокоен;
не се плаши, нито се показвай малодушен
поради тези две опашки на димящи главни –
поради яростния гняв на Расин и Сирия, и на Ромелиевия син.
5 Понеже Сирия, Ефрем и Ромелиевият син
имаха лошо намерение против тебе, като казаха:
6 Да излезем против Юдея и да я разорим,
и да си пробием пролом в нея,
и да поставим Тавиеловия син за цар над нея.
7 (C)Затова така казва Господ Йехова:
Това няма да стане, нито ще бъде.
8 (D)Защото главата на Сирия е Дамаск,
а глава на Дамаск – Расин;
и в течение на шестдесет и пет години Ефрем ще бъде съкрушен така, че вече да не е народ –
9 (E)Ефрем, чиято глава е Самария,
а глава на Самария – Ромелиевият син.
Ако не вярвате в това, вие няма да бъдете утвърдени.
10 И Господ говорѝ още на Ахаз:
11 (F)Поискай си знамение от Господа, твоя Бог;
искай го или в дълбината, или във висината горе.
12 Но Ахаз отговори: Няма да искам,
нито ще изпитам Господа.
13 А Исайя каза: Слушайте сега, доме Давидов;
малко нещо ли ви е да досаждате на хора,
че ще досаждате и на моя Бог?
14 (G)Затова сам Господ ще ви даде знамение:
Ето, девица ще зачене и ще роди син,
и ще го нарече Емануил[b].
15 Сгъстено мляко и мед ще яде,
когато се научи да отхвърля лошото и да избира доброто;
16 (H)защото, преди детето да се научи
да отхвърля лошото и да избира доброто,
тази земя, от чиито двама царе се отвращаваш ти,
ще бъде изоставена.
17 (I)Господ ще докара на тебе,
на твоя народ и на бащиния ти дом
такива дни, каквито не са идвали
от деня, когато Ефрем се е отделил от Юда –
ще докара асирийския цар.
18 (J)И в същия ден Господ ще призове мухите,
които са в най-далечните околности на египетските реки,
и пчелите, които са в асирийската земя;
19 (K)и те ще дойдат и всичките ще накацат по запустелите долини
и в дупките на канарите, и на всяка драка, и на всяко пасбище.
20 (L)В този ден Господ ще обръсне с бръснач,
нает оттатък реката, асирийския цар,
главата и космите на краката – даже и брадата ще смъкне.
21 В същия ден човек,
който храни крава и две овце,
22 ще яде сгъстено мляко от изобилието на млякото,
което ще дават;
защото сгъстеното мляко и мед ще яде всеки,
който е останал в страната.
23 (M)И в онзи ден всяко място,
където е имало хиляда лози по хиляда сребърника,
ще бъде за глогове и тръни.
24 Със стрели и лъкове ще дойдат хора там,
защото цялата страна ще стане само глогове и тръни.
25 Поради страх от глогове и тръни
ти няма да дойдеш на никой хълм, копан сега с търнокоп,
а ще бъде място, на което ще изпращаш говеда
и което ще тъпчат овце.

7 Aconteció en los días de Acaz hijo de Jotam, hijo de Uzías, rey de Judá, que Rezín rey de Siria, y Peca hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron a Jerusalén para combatirla; mas no la pudieron tomar.
2 Y vino la nueva a la casa de David, diciendo: Siria se ha confederado con Efraín. Y se le estremeció el corazón, y el corazón de su pueblo, como se estremecen los árboles del monte a causa del viento.
3 Entonces dijo el SEÑOR a Isaías: Sal ahora al encuentro de Acaz, tú, y Sear-jasub tu hijo, al extremo del conducto de la pesquera de arriba, en el camino de la heredad del Lavador,
4 y dile: Guarda, y repósate; no temas, ni se enternezca tu corazón a causa de estos dos cabos de tizón que humean, por el furor de la ira de Rezín y del sirio, y del hijo de Remalías.
5 Por haber acordado maligno consejo contra ti el sirio, con Efraín y con el hijo de Remalías, diciendo:
6 Vamos contra Judá, y la despertaremos, y la repartiremos entre nosotros, y pondremos en medio de ella por rey al hijo de Tabeel.
7 El Señor DIOS dice así: No permanecerá, y no será.
8 Porque la cabeza de Siria será Damasco, y la cabeza de Damasco, Rezín; y dentro de sesenta y cinco años Efraín será quebrantado y nunca mas será pueblo.
9 Entretanto la cabeza de Efraín será Samaria, y la cabeza de Samaria el hijo de Remalías. Si vosotros no creyereis, de cierto no permaneceréis.
10 Y habló más el SEÑOR a Acaz, diciendo:
11 Pide para ti señal del SEÑOR tu Dios, demandándola en lo profundo, o arriba en lo alto.
12 Y respondió Acaz: No pediré, y no tentaré al SEÑOR.
13 Dijo entonces Isaías: Oíd ahora, casa de David. ¿No os basta ser molestos a los hombres, sino que también lo seáis a mi Dios?
14 Por tanto, el mismo Señor os dará señal: He aquí que la virgen concebirá, y dará a luz un hijo, y llamará su nombre Emmanuel.
15 Comerá manteca y miel, hasta que sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno.
16 Porque antes que el niño sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno, la tierra que tú aborreces será dejada de sus dos reyes.
17 El SEÑOR hará venir sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre la casa de tu padre, días cuales nunca vinieron desde el día que Efraín se apartó de Judá, es a saber, al rey de Asiria.
18 Y acontecerá que aquel día silbará el SEÑOR a la mosca que está en el fin de los ríos de Egipto, y a la abeja que está en la tierra de Asiria.
19 Y vendrán, y se asentarán todos en los valles desiertos, y en las cavernas de las piedras, y en todos los zarzales, y en todas las matas.
20 En aquel día raerá el Señor con navaja alquilada, con los que habitan del otro lado del río, es a saber, con el rey de Asiria, cabeza y pelos de los pies; y aun la barba también quitará.
21 Y acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que críe un hombre una vaca y dos ovejas;
22 y será que a causa de la abundancia de leche que darán, comerá manteca; ciertamente manteca y miel comerá el que quedare en medio de la tierra.
23 Acontecerá también en aquel tiempo, que el lugar donde había mil vides que valían mil siclos de plata, será para los espinos y para los cardos.
24 Con saetas y arco irán allá; porque toda la tierra será espinos y cardos.
25 Mas a todos los montes que se cavaban con azada, no llegará allá el temor de los espinos y de los cardos; mas serán para pasto de bueyes, y para ser hollados de los ganados.

King James Version
7 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
3 Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;
4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
6 Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
7 Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.
10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
17 The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
