³ To ^(A)grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The ^(B)oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.
So they will be called ^[a](C)oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

¹⁷ Then you will ^(A)know that I am the Lord your God,
Dwelling on Zion, My ^(B)holy mountain.
So Jerusalem will be ^(C)holy,
And ^(D)strangers will no longer pass through it.

“^(A)Behold, I am laying in Zion a choice stone, a ^(B)precious cornerstone,
And the one who believes in ^[b]Him will not be ^[c]put to shame.”
