¹² “Listen^(A) to me, Jacob,
    Israel, whom I have called:^(B)
I am he;^(C)
    I am the first and I am the last.^(D)

⁶ “This is what the Lord says—
    Israel’s King^(A) and Redeemer,^(B) the Lord Almighty:
I am the first and I am the last;^(C)
    apart from me there is no God.^(D)

³ Give ear and come to me;
    listen,^(A) that you may live.^(B)
I will make an everlasting covenant^(C) with you,
    my faithful love^(D) promised to David.^(E)

49 Listen^(A) to me, you islands;^(B)
    hear this, you distant nations:
Before I was born^(C) the Lord called^(D) me;
    from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.^(E)
