³¹ Yet those who ^[a]wait for the Lord
Will ^(A)gain new strength;
They will ^[b](B)mount up with ^[c]wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.

¹⁰ ‘Do not ^(A)fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely ^(B)I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous ^(C)right hand.’

⁶ The Lord ^(J)performs ^[b]righteous deeds
And judgments for all who are ^(K)oppressed.
⁷ He ^(L)made known His ways to Moses,
His ^(M)acts to the sons of Israel.
⁸ The Lord is ^(N)compassionate and gracious,
^(O)Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
⁹ He ^(P)will not always strive with us,
Nor will He ^(Q)keep His anger forever.
¹⁰ He has ^(R)not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
¹¹ For as high ^(S)as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who ^[c]fear Him.
¹² As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He ^(T)removed our transgressions from us.
¹³ Just ^(U)as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who ^[d]fear Him.
¹⁴ For ^(V)He Himself knows ^[e]our frame;
He ^(W)is mindful that we are but ^(X)dust.

¹⁵ As for man, his days are ^(Y)like grass;
As a ^(Z)flower of the field, so he flourishes.
¹⁶ When the ^(AA)wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its ^(AB)place acknowledges it no longer.
¹⁷ But the ^(AC)lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who ^[f]fear Him,
And His ^[g]righteousness ^(AD)to children’s children,
¹⁸ To ^(AE)those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts to do them.

¹⁹ The Lord has established His ^(AF)throne in the heavens,
And His ^[h](AG)sovereignty rules over ^[i]all.
²⁰ Bless the Lord, you ^(AH)His angels,
^(AI)Mighty in strength, who ^(AJ)perform His word,
^(AK)Obeying the voice of His word!
²¹ Bless the Lord, all you ^(AL)His hosts,
You ^(AM)who serve Him, doing His will.
²² Bless the Lord, ^(AN)all you works of His,
In all places of His dominion;
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

^7 (J)Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
^8 (K)If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in ^[f]Sheol, behold, ^(L)You are there.
⁹ If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
¹⁰ Even there Your hand will ^(M)lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.
¹¹ If I say, “Surely the ^(N)darkness will ^[g]overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
¹² Even the ^(O)darkness is not dark ^[h]to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
^(P)Darkness and light are alike to You.

¹³ For You ^(Q)formed my ^[i]inward parts;
You ^(R)wove me in my mother’s womb.
¹⁴ I will give thanks to You, for ^[j]I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
^(S)Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
¹⁵ My ^[k](T)frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the ^(U)depths of the earth;
¹⁶ Your ^(V)eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in ^(W)Your book were all written
The ^(X)days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

¹⁷ How precious also are Your ^(Y)thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
¹⁸ If I should count them, they would ^(Z)outnumber the sand.
When ^(AA)I awake, I am still with You.

¹⁹ O that You would ^(AB)slay the wicked, O God;
^(AC)Depart from me, therefore, ^(AD)men of bloodshed.
²⁰ For they ^(AE)speak ^[l]against You wickedly,
And Your enemies ^[m](AF)take Your name in vain.
²¹ Do I not ^(AG)hate those who hate You, O Lord?
And do I not ^(AH)loathe those who rise up against You?
²² I hate them with the utmost hatred;
They have become my enemies.

^23 (AI)Search me, O God, and know my heart;
^(AJ)Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
²⁴ And see if there be any ^[n](AK)hurtful way in me,
And ^(AL)lead me in the ^(AM)everlasting way.
