^21 (A)And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is ^(B)the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Treasure in Jars of Clay

⁷ But we have this treasure in ^(A)jars of clay, ^(B)to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. ⁸ We are ^(C)afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; ⁹ persecuted, but ^(D)not forsaken; ^(E)struck down, but not destroyed; ^10 (F)always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, ^(G)so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our bodies.

Keep in Step with the Spirit

¹⁶ But I say, ^(A)walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify ^(B)the desires of the flesh.

²⁴ And those who belong to Christ Jesus ^(A)have crucified the flesh with its ^(B)passions and desires.

¹² For ^(A)we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(B)the rulers, against the authorities, against ^(C)the cosmic powers over ^(D)this present darkness, against ^(E)the spiritual forces of evil ^(F)in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore ^(G)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(H)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, ^(I)having fastened on the belt of truth, and ^(J)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and, ^(K)as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In all circumstances take up ^(L)the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all ^(M)the flaming darts of ^(N)the evil one; ¹⁷ and take ^(O)the helmet of salvation, and ^(P)the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, ¹⁸ praying ^(Q)at all times ^(R)in the Spirit, ^(S)with all prayer and supplication. To that end, ^(T)keep alert with all perseverance, making ^(U)supplication for all the saints, ¹⁹ and ^(V)also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth ^(W)boldly to proclaim ^(X)the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I ^(Y)am an ambassador ^(Z)in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
