Isaiah 2:6-9

6 For You have abandoned(A) Your people,
the house of Jacob,
because they are full of divination from the East
and of fortune-tellers(B) like the Philistines.(C)
They are in league[a] with foreigners.
7 Their[b][c] land is full of silver and gold,
and there is no limit to their treasures;
their land is full of horses,
and there is no limit to their chariots.(D)
8 Their land is full of idols;(E)
they bow down to the work of their hands,
to what their fingers have made.(F)
9 So humanity is brought low,
and man is humbled.
Do not forgive them!(G)

the house of Jacob,
because they are filled with practices learned[a] from the East
and they are fortune-tellers like the Philistines.
They cut deals[b] with foreigners.[c]
7 Their land is filled with silver and gold,
and there is no end to their treasures;
their land is filled with horses,
and there is no end to their chariots.
8 Their land is filled with idols;
they bow down to the work of their hands,
to what their own fingers have made.
