Isaiah 25:6-9

⁶^(A)On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
    a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
    ^(B)of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
⁷And he will swallow up ^(C)on this mountain
    the covering that is cast over all peoples,
    ^(D)the veil that is spread over all nations.
⁸    ^(E)He will swallow up death forever;
and ^(F)the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
    and ^(G)the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
    ^(H)for the Lord has spoken.
⁹It will be said on that day,
    “Behold, this is our God; ^(I)we have waited for him, that he might save us.
    This is the Lord; we have waited for him;
    ^(J)let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

1 Corinthians 11:23-32

²³For ^(A)I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that ^(B)the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, ²⁴and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for^[a] you. Do this in remembrance of me.”^[b] ²⁵In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” ²⁶For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death ^(C)until he comes.

²⁷^(D)Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord ^(E)in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning ^(F)the body and blood of the Lord. ²⁸^(G)Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. ²⁹For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. ³⁰That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some ^(H)have died.^[c] ³¹^(I)But if we judged^[d] ourselves truly, we would not be judged. ³²But when we are judged by the Lord, ^(J)we are disciplined^[e] so that we may not be ^(K)condemned along with the world.

¹⁴^(A)And when the hour came, he reclined at table, and the apostles with him. ¹⁵And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. ¹⁶For I tell you I will not eat it^[a] ^(B)until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” ¹⁷And he took a cup, and ^(C)when he had given thanks he said, “Take this, and divide it among yourselves. ¹⁸^(D)For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine ^(E)until the kingdom of God comes.” ¹⁹^(F)And he took bread, and ^(G)when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ^(H)“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” ²⁰And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ^(I)“This cup that is poured out for you is ^(J)the new ^(K)covenant in my blood.^[b] ²¹^(L)But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is ^(M)with me on the table. ²²For the Son of Man goes ^(N)as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!” ²³And they began to question one another, which of them it could be who was going to do this.
