22 They will be gathered together like prisoners in a pit, shut into a prison, and punished after many days. 23 The moon will be diminished, and the sun will fade, since the Lord of heavenly forces will rule on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, glorious before his elders.

22 They will be herded together
like prisoners(A) bound in a dungeon;(B)
they will be shut up in prison
and be punished[a] after many days.(C)
23 The moon will be dismayed,
the sun(D) ashamed;
for the Lord Almighty will reign(E)
on Mount Zion(F) and in Jerusalem,
and before its elders—with great glory.(G)
