¹⁴They -- they lift up their voice, They sing of the excellency of Jehovah, They have cried aloud from the sea.

¹⁵Therefore in prosperity honour ye Jehovah, In isles of the sea, the name of Jehovah, God of Israel.

¹⁶From the skirt of the earth we heard songs, The desire of the righteous. And I say, `Leanness [is] to me, Leanness [is] to me, wo [is] to me.' Treacherous dealers dealt treacherously, Yea, treachery, treacherous dealers dealt treacherously.

New International Version

¹⁴They raise their voices, they shout for joy;^(A)
    from the west^(B) they acclaim the Lord’s majesty.
¹⁵Therefore in the east^(C) give glory^(D) to the Lord;
    exalt^(E) the name^(F) of the Lord, the God of Israel,
    in the islands^(G) of the sea.
¹⁶From the ends of the earth^(H) we hear singing:^(I)
    “Glory^(J) to the Righteous One.”^(K)

But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!^(L)
Woe^(M) to me!
The treacherous^(N) betray!
With treachery the treacherous betray!^(O)”

“Glory to the righteous!”
But I said, ^[a]“I am ruined, ruined!
Woe to me!
