⁴ Let the ^[a]banished of Moab sojourn with you;
Be a hiding place to them from the destroyer.”
For the extortioner has come to an end, destruction has ceased,
^(A)Oppressors have completely disappeared from the land.

¹³ That you have ^(A)forgotten Yahweh your Maker,
Who ^(B)stretched out the heavens
And laid the foundations of the earth,
That you ^(C)tremble in dread continually all day long because of the wrath of the one who brings distress,
As he makes ready to bring ruin?
But where is the wrath of the ^(D)one who brings distress?

¹⁴ In ^(A)righteousness you will be established;
You will be far from ^(B)oppression, for you will ^(C)not fear,
And from ^(D)terror, for it will not come near you.
