³⁰ And it will ^(A)growl over it in that day like the roaring of the sea.
If one ^(B)looks to the land, behold, there is darkness and distress;
Even the light is darkened by its clouds.

¹⁸ Woe, you who are longing for the ^(A)day of Yahweh,
For what purpose will the day of Yahweh be to you?
It will be ^(B)darkness and not light;

²⁰ Will not the day of Yahweh be ^(A)darkness instead of light,
Even thick darkness with no brightness in it?

¹⁴ Near is the ^(A)great ^(B)day of Yahweh,
Near and coming very quickly;
O the sound, the day of Yahweh!

¹⁵ A day of fury is that day,
A day of ^(D)trouble and distress,
A day of destruction and desolation,
A day of ^(E)darkness and thick darkness,
A day of clouds and dense gloom,
