^25 (A)Causing the ^[a]omens of boasters to fail,
^[b]Making fools out of diviners,
^(B)Causing wise men to draw back
And ^[c]turning their knowledge into foolishness,

⁷ Concerning ^(A)Edom.
Thus says the Lord of hosts,
“Is there no longer any ^(B)wisdom in ^(C)Teman?
Has good counsel been lost to the prudent?
Has their wisdom decayed?

“^(A)I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”
