Isaiah 10:31-33
Easy-to-Read Version

31 The people of Madmenah are running away. The people of Gebim[a] are hiding. 32 This day the army will stop at Nob and prepare to fight against Mount Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

33 Look, the Lord God All-Powerful will use his great power and chop down that great tree. Their highest officials will be brought down. Their most important leaders will be humbled.

31 Madmenah is in flight;
    the people of Gebim take cover.
32 This day they will halt at Nob;(A)
    they will shake their fist(B)
at the mount of Daughter Zion,(C)
    at the hill of Jerusalem.

33 See, the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
    will lop off(D) the boughs with great power.
The lofty trees will be felled,(E)
    the tall(F) ones will be brought low.(G)
