A Remnant Will Return

20 Now it will be in that day, that the (A)remnant of Israel and those of the house of Jacob (B)who have escaped, will never again rely on the one who struck them, but will truly (C)rely on Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel.

21 A (D)remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the (E)mighty God.
22 For (F)though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea,
Only a remnant within them will return;
A (G)destructive end is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.

The Remnant of Israel

    the survivors(B) of Jacob,
will no longer rely(C) on him
    who struck them down(D)
but will truly rely(E) on the Lord,
    the Holy One of Israel.(F)

    will return to the Mighty God.(I)

Destruction has been decreed,(L)
    overwhelming and righteous.
