^9 (A)Unless Yahweh of hosts
Had left us a few ^(B)survivors,
We would be like ^(C)Sodom,
We would be like Gomorrah.

¹¹ Then it will be in that day, that the Lord
Will again acquire the second time with His hand
The ^(A)remnant of His people, who will remain,
From ^(B)Assyria, ^(C)Egypt, Pathros, ^[a]Ethiopia, ^(D)Elam, Shinar, Hamath,
And from the ^(E)coastlands of the sea.

¹⁶ And there will be a ^(A)highway from Assyria
For the ^(B)remnant of His people who will remain,
Just as there was for Israel
In ^(C)the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.

³ “^(A)Hear Me, O house of Jacob,
And all ^(B)the remnant of the house of Israel,
You who have been ^(C)burdening Me from ^[a]birth
And have been carried from the womb;
