³⁰ And then ^(A)the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see ^(B)the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. ³¹ And ^(C)He will send forth His angels with ^(D)a great trumpet and they will gather together His ^[a](E)elect from ^(F)the four winds, from one end of the sky to the ^[b]other.

³⁴ You ^[a]continued looking until a ^(A)stone was cut out ^(B)without hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay and ^(C)crushed them. ³⁵ Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed ^[b]all at the same time and became ^(D)like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that ^(E)not a trace of them was found. But the stone that struck the image became a great ^(F)mountain and filled the whole earth.

⁶ For I am already being ^(A)poured out as a drink offering, and the time of ^(B)my departure has come. ^7 (C)I have fought the good fight, I have finished ^(D)the course, I have kept ^(E)the faith. ⁸ In the future there ^(F)is laid up for me ^(G)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on ^(H)that day, and not only to me, but also to ^(I)all who have loved His ^(J)appearing.

⁷ and to give rest to you who are afflicted ^[a]and to us as well ^(A)at the revelation of the Lord Jesus ^(B)from heaven ^(C)with ^[b]His mighty angels ^(D)in flaming fire, ⁸ executing vengeance on those who ^(E)do not know God and to those who ^(F)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. ⁹ These will pay the penalty of ^(G)eternal destruction, ^(H)away from the presence of the ^[c]Lord and from the glory of His might, ¹⁰ when He comes to be ^(I)glorified ^[d]in His ^[e]saints on that ^(J)day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—for our ^(K)witness to you was believed.
