³ And they were calling to one another:

⁸ Each of the four living creatures^(A) had six wings^(B) and was covered with eyes all around,^(C) even under its wings. Day and night^(D) they never stop saying:

⁹ Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne^(G) and who lives for ever and ever,^(H)

¹¹ With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:

And all the people gave a great shout^(B) of praise to the Lord, because the foundation^(C) of the house of the Lord was laid.

¹⁰ In that day^(E) the Root of Jesse^(F) will stand as a banner^(G) for the peoples; the nations^(H) will rally to him,^(I) and his resting place^(J) will be glorious.^(K)

²¹ Nevertheless, as surely as I live^(A) and as surely as the glory of the Lord^(B) fills the whole earth,^(C)

²⁰ Then Miriam^(A) the prophet,^(B) Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels^(C) and dancing.^{(D) 21} Miriam sang^(E) to them:
