¹⁰ Though the mountains be shaken^(A)
    and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love^(B) for you will not be shaken^(C)
    nor my covenant^(D) of peace^(E) be removed,”
    says the Lord, who has compassion^(F) on you.

³³ but I will not take my love from him,^(A)
    nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.
³⁴ I will not violate my covenant
    or alter what my lips have uttered.^(B)

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
    look at the earth beneath;
the heavens will vanish like smoke,^(A)
    the earth will wear out like a garment^(B)
    and its inhabitants die like flies.
But my salvation^(C) will last forever,^(D)
    my righteousness will never fail.^(E)

⁷ “Hear me, you who know what is right,^(F)
    you people who have taken my instruction to heart:^(G)
Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals
    or be terrified by their insults.^(H)
