They are (A)Israelites, and to them belong (B)the adoption, (C)the glory, (D)the covenants, (E)the giving of the law, (F)the worship, and (G)the promises. To them belong (H)the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, (I)who is God over all, (J)blessed forever. Amen.

But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all are children of Abraham (K)because they are his offspring, but (L)“Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but (M)the children of the promise are counted as offspring.

The Seventy Weeks

And the people of the prince who is to come (N)shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. (O)Its[d] end shall come with a flood, (P)and to the end there shall be war. (Q)Desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,[e] and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. (R)And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until (S)the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”
