^5 (A)Like birds hovering, so the Lord of hosts
    will protect Jerusalem;
he will protect and deliver it;
    he will spare and rescue it.”

⁴ He will ^(A)cover you with his pinions,
    and under his ^(B)wings you will ^(C)find refuge;
    his ^(D)faithfulness is ^(E)a shield and buckler.

⁴⁰ The Lord helps them and ^(A)delivers them;
    ^(B)he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
    because they ^(C)take refuge in him.

^11 (A)Like an eagle that stirs up its nest,
    that flutters over its young,
spreading out its wings, catching them,
    bearing them on its pinions,

¹⁴ My hand has found like a nest
    the wealth of the peoples;
and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,
    so I have gathered all the earth;
and there was none that moved a wing
    or opened the mouth or chirped.”

    God will help her when morning dawns.
