Isaiah 63:3-5
New King James Version
3 “I have (A)trodden the winepress alone,
And from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger,
And trampled them in My fury;
Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,
And I have stained all My robes.
4 For the (B)day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.
5 (C)I looked, but (D)there was no one to help,

4 It was for me the day of vengeance;(E)
the year for me to redeem had come.

I was appalled that no one gave support;
so my own arm(G) achieved salvation for me,
and my own wrath sustained me.(H)

Genesis 18:23-32
New King James Version
23 And Abraham (A)came near and said, (B)“Would You also (C)destroy the (D)righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? 25 Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so (E)that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! (F)Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
26 So the Lord said, (G)“If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”
27 Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am (H)but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: 28 Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?”
So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it.”
29 And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?”
So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.”
30 Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?”
So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
31 And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?”
So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.”
32 Then he said, (I)“Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?”
(J)And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.”

23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?(A) 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare[a] the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?(B) 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing(C)—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous(D) and the wicked alike.(E) Far be it from you! 26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.(H)”

“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”
29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”
He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”

He answered, “For the sake of ten,(L) I will not destroy it.”

2 Why, when I came, was there no man?
Why, when I called, was there none to answer?
Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem?
Or have I no power to deliver?
Indeed with My (A)rebuke I dry up the sea,
I make the rivers a wilderness;
Their fish stink because there is no water,
And die of thirst.
