7 Prin urmare, fiţi răbdători, fraţilor, până la venirea Domnului! Iată că fermierul aşteaptă rodul preţios al pământului, având răbdare cu el, până când primeşte ploaie timpurie şi târzie[a]. 8 Fiţi şi voi răbdători, întăriţi-vă inimile, pentru că venirea Domnului este aproape!

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

6 You have condemned and murdered the righteous person, although he does not resist you.[a]
Patience in Suffering
7 So be patient, brothers and sisters,[b] until the Lord’s return.[c] Think of how the farmer waits[d] for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient[e] for it until it receives the early and late rains. 8 You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.
