1 Thessalonians 2:7-11

7 But we [a]proved to be [b](A)gentle [c]among you. (B)As a nursing mother [d]tenderly cares for her own children, 8 in the same way we had a fond affection for you and were delighted to (C)share with you not only the (D)gospel of God, but also our own [e]lives, because you had become [f]very dear to us.
9 For you recall, brothers and sisters, our (E)labor and hardship: it was by (F)working night and day so as not to be a (G)burden to any of you, that we proclaimed to you the (H)gospel of God. 10 You are witnesses, and so is (I)God, of (J)how devoutly and rightly and blamelessly we [g]behaved toward you [h]believers; 11 just as you know how we were (K)exhorting and encouraging and (L)imploring each one of you as (M)a father would his own children,
