Hosea Marries Again
3 Then Yahweh said to me, “Go again, love a [a]woman who is loved by her companion and is an adulteress, even (A)as Yahweh loves the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin (B)cakes.” 2 So I (C)bargained for her for myself for fifteen [b]shekels of silver and a [c]homer and a [d]half of barley. 3 Then I said to her, “You shall (D)stay with me for many days. You shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a [e]man; so I will also be toward you.” 4 For the sons of Israel will remain for many days (E)without king or prince, (F)without sacrifice or sacred (G)pillar, and without (H)ephod or [f](I)household idols. 5 Afterward the sons of Israel will (J)return and seek Yahweh their God and (K)David their king; and (L)they will come [g]in dread to Yahweh and to His goodness in the last days.

Hosea 3
American Standard Version
3 And Jehovah said unto me, Go again, love a woman beloved [a]of her friend, and an adulteress, even as Jehovah loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and [b]love cakes of raisins. 2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley, and a [c]half-homer of barley; 3 and I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be any man’s wife: so will I also be toward thee. 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without [d]pillar, and without ephod or teraphim: 5 afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek Jehovah their God, and David their king, and shall come with fear unto Jehovah and to his goodness in the latter days.
