Hebrews 7:18-20

¹⁸The old law given to Moses by God was put away. It was weak and no good.

¹⁹The law did not make anything right. But something better has been brought to us. It is God's promise. And by that promise we come near to God.

²⁰Also Christ was not made a priest without God's strong promise. The others were made priests without God's strong promise.

Hebrews 7:18-20

¹⁸For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

¹⁹For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

²⁰And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
