9 But we are convinced about you, (A)beloved, of things that are better and that belong to salvation, though we are speaking in this way. 10 For (B)God is not unrighteous so as to forget (C)your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having (D)ministered and continuing to minister to the [a]saints. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence [b]so as to realize the (E)full assurance of (F)hope until the end, 12 so that you may not become dull, but (G)imitators of those who through (H)faith and patience (I)inherit the promises.

9 But even if we are speaking in this way, dear friends, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and belonging to salvation. 10 For God is not unjust, so as to forget your work and the love which you demonstrated for his name by[a] having served the saints, and continuing to serve them. 11 And we desire each one of you to demonstrate the same diligence for the full assurance of your hope until the end, 12 in order that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and patience.
