¹⁶ Do not neglect to do good and ^(A)to share what you have, for such ^(B)sacrifices are pleasing to God.

¹⁷ Obey ^(C)your leaders and submit to them, ^(D)for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to ^(E)give an account. ^(F)Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

^18 (G)Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. ¹⁹ I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order ^(H)that I may be restored to you the sooner.

²⁰ Now ^(I)may the God of peace ^(J)who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, ^(K)the great shepherd of the sheep, by ^(L)the blood of the eternal covenant, ^21 (M)equip you with everything good that you may do his will, ^(N)working in us^[a] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, ^(O)to whom be glory forever and ever. ¹⁰ So then, ^(A)as we have opportunity, let us ^(B)do good to everyone, and especially to those who are ^(C)of the household of faith.

^6 (A)Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if ^(B)prophecy, ^(C)in proportion to our faith; ⁷ if ^(D)service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; ⁸ the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; ^(E)the one who leads,^[a] with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with ^(F)cheerfulness.
