Hebrews 1:2-4

Hebrews 1:2-4
New Catholic Bible
2 but in these last days he has spoken to us
    through his Son,
whom he appointed heir of all things
and through whom he created the universe.
3 He is the reflection of God’s glory
and the perfect expression of his very being,[a]
sustaining all things by his powerful word.
Achieving purification from sins,
he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
4 So he became as far superior to the angels
as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
Footnotes
- Hebrews 1:3 Perfect expression of his very being: that is, there is an identity of nature (see Wis 7:25-26).
