Hebrews 3:15-19

15 for it is said:
“Oh, that today you would hear his voice:
‘Harden not your hearts as at the rebellion.’”(A)
16 (B)Who were those who rebelled when they heard? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt under Moses? 17 With whom was he “provoked for forty years”? Was it not those who had sinned, whose corpses fell in the desert?(C) 18 And to whom did he “swear that they should not enter into his rest,” if not to those who were disobedient?(D) 19 And we see that they could not enter for lack of faith.

16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?(B) 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?(C) 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest(D) if not to those who disobeyed?(E) 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.(F)
