One Sacrifice for Sins. That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said,

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
    but a body you have prepared for me.
You took no delight
    in holocausts and sin offerings.
Then I said, ‘As it is written of me in the scroll,
    behold, I have come to do your will, O God.’ ”

First he says, “Sacrifices and offerings, holocausts and sin offerings, you neither desired nor delighted in,” even though they are offered according to the Law. Then he adds, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He thus abolishes the first to establish the second.
