24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made by human hands, a mere copy of the true one, but he entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.(A) 25 Nor was it to offer himself again and again, as the high priest enters the holy place year after year with blood that is not his own, 26 for then he would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to remove sin by the sacrifice of himself.(B) 27 And just as it is appointed for mortals to die once and after that the judgment,(C) 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.(D)

1 O sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things.
His right hand and his holy arm

20 Then he went home, and the crowd came together again, so that they could not even eat.(A) 21 When his family heard it, they went out to restrain him, for people were saying, “He has gone out of his mind.”(B) 22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul, and by the ruler of the demons he casts out demons.”(C) 23 And he called them to him and spoke to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?(D) 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but his end has come. 27 But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his property without first tying up the strong man; then indeed the house can be plundered.(E)
28 “Truly I tell you, people will be forgiven for their sins and whatever blasphemies they utter,(F) 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness but is guilty of an eternal sin”— 30 for they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
