³ And this we will do ^(A)if God permits.

⁷ For I do not want to see you now ^(A)just in passing. I hope to spend some time with you, ^(B)if the Lord permits.

²¹ But on taking leave of them he said, “I will return to you ^(A)if God wills,” and he set sail from Ephesus.

¹⁵ Instead you ought to say, ^(A)“If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

¹⁹ But ^(A)I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power.

³² so that by God's will I may come to you with joy and ^(A)be refreshed in your company.
