¹⁴ saying, ^(A)“Surely I will bless you and multiply you.”

¹⁷ I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring ^(A)as the stars of heaven and ^(B)as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess ^(C)the gate of his^[a] enemies,

¹⁰ The Lord your God has multiplied you, and behold, ^(A)you are today as numerous as the stars of heaven.

²³ You multiplied their children ^(A)as the stars of heaven, and you brought them into the land that you had told their fathers to enter and possess.

² that I may make my covenant between me and you, and ^(A)may multiply you greatly.”

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you ^(A)swore by your own self, and said to them, ^(B)‘I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have promised I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”

⁴ and said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a company of peoples and will give this land to your offspring after you ^(A)for an everlasting possession.’
