⁸ And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
    but a body you prepared for me;^(B)
6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings
    you were not pleased.
⁷ Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll^(C)—
    I have come to do your will, my God.’”^[a](D)

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;^(A)
    a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

“You are my Son;
