⁴ For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: ^(A)“And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.”

¹¹ For ^(A)in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

^17 (A)It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that ^(B)in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and ^(C)on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and ^(A)all the host of them. ² And ^(B)on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.
