¹⁴ For we have come to share in Christ, ^(A)if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

¹¹ And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance ^(A)of hope until the end,

⁶ but Christ is faithful over God's house as ^(A)a son. And ^(B)we are his house, if indeed we ^(C)hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.^[a]

¹³ But rejoice ^(A)insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad ^(B)when his glory is revealed.

⁴ For it is impossible, in the case of those ^(A)who have once been enlightened, who have tasted ^(B)the heavenly gift, and ^(C)have shared in the Holy Spirit,

¹⁷ But if ^(A)some of the branches were broken off, and you, ^(B)although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root^[a] of the olive tree,

Jesus Greater Than Moses

3 Therefore, holy brothers,^[a] you who share in ^(A)a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, ^(B)the apostle and high priest of our confession,

⁶ This mystery is^[a] that the Gentiles are ^(A)fellow heirs, ^(B)members of the same body, and ^(C)partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

¹⁷ Because there is one bread, we who are many are ^(A)one body, for we all partake of the one bread.
