¹⁷ encourage^(A) your hearts and strengthen^(B) you in every good deed and word.

¹³ for it is God who works in you^(A) to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.^(B)

⁵ you also, like living stones, are being built^(A) into a spiritual house^[a](B) to be a holy priesthood,^(C) offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.^(D)

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, who called you^(A) to his eternal glory^(B) in Christ, after you have suffered a little while,^(C) will himself restore you and make you strong,^(D) firm and steadfast. ¹¹ To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.^(E)

¹¹ filled with the fruit of righteousness^(A) that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
